Gap Analysis
ISO 26262 is not a mandatory regulation, but it offers OEMs and suppliers multiple benefits. Additionally , adherence to ISO 26262 increases market potential by signaling commitment towards safety. Automotive OEM’s and suppliers have been making good and safe products over the years but at times that’s not sufficient to prove its safety compliant as per ISO 26262.
In many cases due to lack of knowledge or due to resource and time crunch it is felt that ISO 26262 as an additional overhead activity. Safety Analysis
